Welcome to the Inn on Mill Creek, a lakeside wilderness retreat in the Pisgah National Forest 20 miles east of Asheville. 7 family suites comfortably appointed with queen/king beds, couches, TV/VCR's, Jacuzzi’s, A/C, fireplaces. Enjoy a full breakfast with fresh squeezed juice, fruit from our organic orchard, fresh baked bread & hot entrée. Relax by our private mountain lake from your suite’s porch, in the canoe with a fishing pole in your hand or in a rocker on the dock. Send the kids to pick berries for breakfast or take a hike or bike ride along the ridge. Having too much fun to leave? Help yourself to the fully equipped guest kitchen in the Lake House for lunch or dinner. Or if you’re ready to shop/eat at one of Black Mountain or Asheville’s fine establishments, a short drive through the forest returns you to civilization.

As you may have noticed, there's LOTS to do right here at the Inn on Mill Creek. Whether your idea of relaxing is with a book or fishing pole in your hand, on the back of a mountain bike, or strolling through our organic orchard, you are sure to find a place to suit your fancy right here. But when you're ready to wander, numerous opportunities await you in the greater Asheville area. The world famous Biltmore Estate, the Blue Ridge Parkway, waterfall hikes, creek play, white water rafting, horseback riding, and shopping for mountain craft and antiques are all available nearby. Black Mountain and Asheville are both famous for charming cafes and fine dining restaurants. We will be happy to help you with area maps/brochures, restaurant recommendations and reservations.
