The Golden Pear has three guest rooms and one
two-room suite. The first floor boasts a
king-sized bed with original fireplace and
claw-footed air tub. Two upstairs bedrooms
have queen-sized bed ,one with fireplace.
Our suite has a queen-sized four poster bed,
a fireplace, and an adjoining sitting room.
All rooms have private bath, phone, cable TV,
internet hook-up, refrigerator and hair dryer. |

are accepted) for confirmed reservations.
Balance due at check-in (cash

If reservation is canceled,
the deposit less a 20% processing
fee is refundable only if we
are able to book the entire length
of your reservation. For early
departures, guests are responsible
for the remaining night's accommodations
and tax. Holidays and special
events are nonrefundable.
Payment in full required for
booking the entire bed and breakfast,
with 30-day cancellation policy
in effect.
Special packages and corporate
rates are available upon request.

This
1790's clapboard farmhouse is only
100 miles from Manhattan and 115
miles from Boston. Located in the
Litchfield Hills of Connecticut,
the area remains rich with carefully
preserved history and lore. Edged
by giant maples, picturesque roads
wind their way through the greenest
of pastures, dotted with red barns.
Historic covered bridges, dating
back to the revolutionary war can
still be crossed. Meticulously
restored homes bespeak the traditions
of old. In nearby Woodbury you
will find an excellent New England
antiquing district. There are many
charming shops and restaurants
in the area.
